DepEd TV is part of the several learning modalities used in today's new normal in education due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Department of Education aims to bridge and reach all students accross the Philippines especially those enrolled in public schools so they can continue their studies this school year 2020-2021.
DepEd TV is shown in both free and digital channels. A total of 130 episodes per week will be shown that covers all subjects included in the Most Essential Learning Competencies (MELC) from Kinder to Senior High School.
English is one of the eight MELCs included.
On this DepEd TV episode, the topic "Modals" will be discussed which is included in module for English Grade 9.
This lesson for Grade 9 students will help them express permission, obligation, and prohibition using modals.
